OMG...I was just thinking that! Too damn funny!

Don't make fun of my tape job...:) It got there in one piece without customs going through it too I bet.

Let me explain the tape :)...the box needed to be sturdy enought to go through the sorting station here in town.....many times boxes fall apart with normal handling. Did you know that lots of gifts at Christmas come wrapped in Christmas paper with bits of tape and the postage? LMAO they get ripped to shreds just going down a conveyor belt.
And then again....it cuts down on temptation not to steal (going postal in Canada is when a postie steals)and....

You have no idea how harshly they are handled by most of the people there. They sort by throwing them like baseballs into bins from as far away as possible and better yet when they can hit the side of the bin with the package and have all the contents come out.

Yep I use tons of tape.........I used to work at the sorting plant in parcels and I had a great throw too I might add. ;) but I never damaged anything intentinally.

Now see....if it were me at Customs, well, the ones with lots of tape have GOT to be hiding something! ha ha

And yes Bibi...the end justifies the means! Thank you for securing it enough to survive the trip! :x:

Pixies Package update...after conferring with Lil, it's been decided that we're going to have to use a bigger box. However, I am going to include the "original" box inside the second, larger one. I thought I could find one today but no such luck. I am pretty confident I'll have one by tomorrow, though, and will send the goodies on their way!

I think we should just skip to the point. Make the new box entirely out of tape.

Don’t worry about the size of the box. Just get it here. The dock workers said they should be able to get it in the container ………………… if they are allowed to jump on it. :rolleyes2
