Being more a proponent of comfort than of speed, I'd go for any of the larger Mercedes models.

Oh yes!!!
Be still my beating heart!!! A 1956 Thunderbird :lurv: |
my dream ride would be a car that never breaks down, never needs to be registered or inspected, has instant a/c in the summer and instant heat in the winter, drives itself so we can nap on those long trips and runs on free and abundant nitrogen without converting it to some toxic acid :D
since i can't have that...i'll take a gas-guzzling minivan with remote doors, a dvd player and a mini-fridge :p |
Well til the kids college is done, the Porsche will have to wait.
But I still wish i had my college ride........... 1969 metallic Forest Green Chevelle with 4 on the floor.............. haha and where some of my passengers would end up! |
Just let me loose with a Harley Fatboy and I'll be one happy redneck.

Actually, I really love my Durango. This isn't her, but identical. Just add a small propeller to the back...seriously. The dogs have lots of room when we go places; and they love to stick their noses in the wind. :D

My dream car is anything Corvette. Coaster and CGT have also got me pining over my first car too. Mine was a 72 Monte Carlo. Black int/ext, custom swivel seats, a stereo that was worth more than the car, custom rims, 350 w/ 4 barrel Holley carb, hurst shifter, ect. Didn't look like much on the outside, but DAMN that thing could run! :D
|
Well how about a 68 Cougar Eliminator yellow with black interior and black pinstrips, cragars, 351 Cleveland 4bbl racing cam,etc.etc. was the fastest car in 4 counties man do I miss that one.
or a 56 glasstop crown vic Ford! |
Yup, PF the black one, although there are times when i think i might end up in the blue one, have two of the money pits

I'll learn one of these days not to drink whiskey and post. I had 70's on the front and 60's on the back. That would look stupid having bigger tires on the front than the back.:rolleyes2 |
I,personally,built & customized many nice cars & motorcycles,but the nicest car,that I ever bought new,was a '68 Firebird.My best friends,father & grand-
father, owened the Pontiac Dealership,in my home town.I borrowed all of the catologs,& ordered the car built for me at the factory(new) It was superfast, when it was delivered & then I went to work on it.I finally took the racing gears, out of the rearend, because my wife & I were going back & forth to NH, at least 1-2 times per month.I drove by tachometer(not speedometer) & at 3600RPM,I was doing 80mph.I know it would turn well over 7200,because of the special titanium lifters, that I installed. As my ex-statecop father, told me- It doesn't matter how fast it is,you can't beat a radio wave.I sure did make alot of money on street-races tho. Irish :devilish: P.S. My black '57 chevy was nice, but I didn't buy it that way! P.P.S.Darogle,I had a '72 Monte Carlo also, but mine was White with a Black Vinyl(sp?) top! |

I have an orgasmic love affair with the 2001 BMW Z8... Deep metallic blue with blue leather to coast along with the 400hp V8...
Unfortunately it'll have to stay a dream car, as BMW stopped making these amazing machines. But I'd like to think that with enough money, they'd make me a personal ultimate driving machine. :-D |
of late i'm kind of fasinated with two chrysler cars. the ME412 which i damn near orgasm thinking about and the 300m,
