Just this morning, I went to a presentation being given by MacKenzie Phillips on drug and alcohol abuse, and got to shake her hand as she was leaving the building.
My mom graduated high school with Cheryl Ladd (one of Charlie's Angels) and I did get to meet her at their reunion several years back. Back in 1984, my parents took me to a Mondale/Ferraro rally at the cap in Madison...my parents tell me I was patted on the head by Fritz, but I have no recollection of the moment. Also saw Al Gore when he rallied in Madison for the past election. In middle school, I was obsessed with the guys on soaps, as they were the only ones you really had the opportunity to meet in person through meet & greets at local fairs, etc. I've met Patrick Muldoon (old Austin off Days of Our Lives), Peter Reckell (Bo Brady on Days), Jaason Simmons (the cute Aussie on Baywatch), and just a couple years ago- Paul Anthony Stewart (now starring as Danny Santos on Guiding Light). Each was an enjoyable experience, they are all very nice, and just as cute in person! Hopefully my list of celebrity encounters will continue to grow as the years go by :) Always fun! |
my god, Scarlett. you wouldn't call meetin Gary Coleman greatness? well, i guess i wouldn't, either. no, i'd call it a Buddha-blessed miracle. there is no-- not a single fuckin one-- bigger celebrity that Gary muthafuckin Coleman. he's the reason for it all.

I showed William Hurt where the bathroom was when he was filming "Rare Birds", a movie partly filmed at the university I was working in.
I had a beer with Keifer Sutherland two summers ago when he was dating my friend. He seemed like a really nice guy who liked to have a good time but never called my friend once the movie was done. A gal in every port? |
