http://www.network54.com/Forum/1496... e+Day+airshow The Kiwis are brilliant at WW1 restorations and rebuilds. |
Very cool pics, OF!

Thanks Oldfart, :thumb:
Great pics and even better to imagine going up in one of those.....must be the thrill of a life time. Old planes intrigue me, as do some pilots lol..... :D |
I like the starter car. :D

Useful warning sticker there... in case of emergency, kiss your ass goodbye.

OF, you're right. Those WWI restores are absolutely beautiful! Wow! I'd love to have been there to see them.
|
Me too.
These are mainly new-builds, replicas which contain a couple of original nuts and bolts or such. Peter Jackson of the Lord of the Rings fame is one of the driving forces behind this surge. A lack of fixed wing fighters in the NZ Defence Force is another reason given by unkind Aussies. |

Loud noises in the sky here. I was too slow to get better positioned. Maybe tomorrow.

Someone's gotta keep the Rafales & F-15s in the air.
|
A little obsessed with the "upskirt" photos aren't you OF?
|
They're Grippens, with Aussie Hornets and Yank (or Singapore) F15s. I only get upskirts because they won't show off their topsides, LS.
