imagine i am enjoying the gulf coast, other than a few years in birmingham it has always been my home. hurricanes may come and go - but the seafood, the culture, the beaches, the sunsets, the afternoon thunderstorms, etc... make it all worth while!

Yeah, you have a good point. I am just about 45 minutes away from ya! Nothing like the white sandy beaches for sure.

Im in the panhandle. I live in Destin which is between Pensacola and Panama City.

I don't know! I found a house online fell in love with it bought it and then moved here. lol
It is pretty peaceful and quiet but the hurricanes have done me in. I lost my potting shed, the garage is now leaning really bad and the door and a window got blown/ripped off, the roof is missing chunks of shingles, but hey other than that it went well. And you?

Even with the hurricanes. it's still a great place to live. It hasn't happened in recorded history, where 4 hurricanes hit in one year, so with any luck, it will be a while before it ever happens again.

I will continue to enjoy the warm, clothing optional weather all year long!
