I checked "NO" but that's a slight fib. I had medications with codeine which is a morphine derivative that is found in opium, but, it's true I've never any illegal drugs.

My drug of choice is alcohol. Wine, mostly, and I do love fruity rum drinks, Funerals, Deaths, Hurricanes, and even sometimes Irish coffee.
I also have a passion for brandy, alone, warm.
In nursing school I did tentatively try marijuana, with hysterically funny results.
I am not very inhibited to begin with and those few occasions were a bit of a social scandal.

I have no interest in anyway way in trying anything else.

I've used marijuana fairly regularly for years, and I've never really had a problem with it. Sure, it's not advisable to smoke up if you're intending to get anything productive done, but as one other poster put it, at the end of a day to relax? I don't see a problem. And it's never been addictive to me...I've gone long gaps in time without it if I can't justify the expense to myself, and it doesn't really bother me much at all.

I've also had some shrooms on a number of occasions, and that was a fun, positive experience, but it's been years. I wouldn't completely object to it again, given the right circumstances. In both cases, you're talking about substances of nature as far as I'm concerned...it's the artificial chemicals like LSD and ecstasy and whatnot that I have a major aversion to. Simply put, you don't know what you're getting, and that's a freaky prospect.

As far as drinking goes though, I'd give up many things before I'd give up the joy of supping a pint with good friends on a patio in the summertime. You can't beat it!

Ok....well I have experimented with EVERYTHING.....I started smoking pot at parties when I was about 15, when I was 17 I started smoking daily and did until I was 21. I've done coke a handful of times and the same with extasy. I used to follow Phish (the band) around the country when I was younger....at that time I did a lot of experimenting with acid and mushrooms. I loved all of it and I had a GREAT time. Luckily for me I do NOT have an addictive personality. I watched many of my friends screw up with addictions and almost kill themselves. So I stopped messing around with it. I countinued smoking pot for a while.
I'm 22 now and in the last year I've smoked pot maybe 4 times. Which is REALLY good considering I did smoke all day everyday!
And for a while I ate Loratabs everyday. Once you start eating them everyday...you can't sleep with out them so it's hard to stop.
But I did.

Now, I drink occaisionally with friends and have a beer or a glass of wine from time to time with dinner. And if I'm with old friends (from my party days) I might smoke a little pot....but my tolerence for pot is gone and I'm a complete dork after I smoke it..so I try to resist.:D

If holding onto a bag of weed for the rest of your life keeps you from ever smoking then who's to argue with that kind of success?

I've partied like a rock star, stayed away from crack and heroin, but their are some strong hallucigenics that are still on my list.

No more though, my body can;t take it. Only so often will I grab that proverbial guitar.

I have struggled with addiction in my life, and delivery from that horrible bondage is one of the greatest gifts life has ever bestowed upon me.

I would react with the highest possible skepticism to claims that chemical intoxication is, in the long term, an enhancement to our experience of the gift of human sexuality. But I have no intererest whatsoever in telling anybody how they should live their lives. I have mismanaged my own life so badly at points that I am simply not qualified to oversee others'.

I experimented with smoking in my early teenage years and didn't like it and have not smoked since.

Joining the services at 16 where drinking was considered manly I over indulged a lot till my early 20's then cut back. I have a wine with my evening meal and a rum and diet coke or a beer regularly.

I never get drunk or even tipsy, I enjoy alcohol in moderation.

I have never tried illegal drugs and never will. I have always had that strong conviction, even as a young teenager.
Was offerred drugs at various times and always refused.

Have I ever taken drugs? Hummm. I think I had a drug or two, now and then for a couple of years between about 1967 and 1988.

Have I ever taken drugs? Duh. Have I stopped? Ya, I have been clean for sixteen years, since 1988.

Tried a couple and walked away less than impressed and feeling they were over rated. Sex is a good enough drug for me.

I've tried it but I never inhaled or ingested it. Yeahhh right.
