No wonder!:yikes: You're driving it on the wrong side of the road. It thinks you are backing up and the fuel gage just goes along with the thought.

Transmission is playing up again....AU$200 towing to get it home...then it goes back to the transmission centre tomorrow morning *sigh*

I am NOT buying another used car EVER!....My new car WILL be new!!

jseal 04-09-2006 05:55 AM

Alassė,

Sorry that you had problems! :( Cars can be a damned nuisance. Start saving for that new car soon!

Sharni 04-12-2006 07:11 PM

Phew!! The problem was the governor, they replaced the governor gear and chucked in a bit of fliud and Whooohoooo all good

$15 dollars fitted

scotzoidman 04-12-2006 11:43 PM

Lucky you...just had a complete rebuild of the trans in the minivan (dba as scotziodman courier) to the tune of just under US$1500...#$%^&* only had 130,000 miles on the clock, just don't make 'em like they use to...

You were lucky. I didn't think they did anything for less than $100 anymore.

Glad it was simple. ;)
