Strictly the speaking the glass is always full. Just not of liquid. Air fills the rest of the container.

Mine has room from more olives.

My glass is both half empty and half full. I don't believe in perceiving the world as either/or, but rather as it is, wholly.

Only reason to fill your glass is to empty it again. This philosophy works quite well with alcohol.
