As far a BDSM etc, if you can't bring yourself to talk about it with them then perhaps your relationship isn't as strong as you think it is. If you can't be sincere and up front with your partner be they male female or whatever if you can't tell them what you like for fear of rejection or humiliation ( unless thats your kink and what you're looking for.... not mine but eh different strokes.....) I would reconsider it.
