Stuffing!!!

I am making a sweet potato and apple dish in my crockpot that has a maple syrup glaze that I'm looking forward to trying out.

I don't know, the bottle says it was hand-tapped by North American Maples. I was a little shocked at how much money Joe spent on this syrup. I still forget that he takes what I say literally, so when I say maple syrup that doesn't mean imitation maple syrup. Should be tasty!

Stuffing, stuffing and more stuffing. Tasty bread happiness! (with gravy)

TT, there is nothing like real maple syrup....or maple sugar candy.

Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, dinner rolls ... the whole
Thanksgiving menu. YUMMY!

WildIrish 11-22-2012 11:58 AM

I've been considering this for awhile and I think the best way to describe it is "everything". We have turkey a few times a year, and we make mashed potatoes a lot too. But really the only time we have all the traditional items together is on T'day.

Broccoli casserole :) I have also made a fruit salad (from my g-ma's recipe)...and my brother's fried bird is AWESOME! I love cornbread dressing, but I'm gonna have to learn how to make it...cuz no one else makes it like my mom used to.
