I took just over 2400 pictures over the week of subjects ranging from t-shirts to cement trucks. The above pics are just to give an idea of a really fun week at the airshow.

Teddy, the show is world famous, a mecca for aircraft folk.

thanks for the pics OF, I really enjoyed the raptor3 pic with the airstream visable over the wings.

OF, love these pics, especially the Heritage fly bys...really shows how far technology has come, especially with the new F-22.

Went to the airshow here last month and saw the USAF Thunderbirds. I don't have pics, sorry. This show also had the requisite F-15, F-18 demos, but was also extensive with freighters like the C-5 and the C-130, and helicopters of various types. also had a V-22 Osprey. There was also a nice selection of vintage jets.

Thanks for sharing!

I must admit that while I'm not an aircraft kind of guy, I do enjoy watching air shows. That's the only thing I miss about living near the Air Force base in Charleston, I don't get to go to them anymore. It was always cool watching the flybys and actually getting a close look at what we actually use for our nation's defense. Unfortunately, they never let me push any of the buttons.

I'm beginning to detect a pattern here. Were aircraft involved somehow?

I'm not quite the airplane nut type myself, but even if you hadn't labeled the Corsair pic, I still would've recognized the familiar "broken wings"... half the fun of watching "Bah Bah Black Sheep" (aka "Black Sheep Squadron") was seeing the Corsairs in action.

Were there any P-38s on site? I'm more of an old car freak myself, & I always like seeing the plane that inspired the Cadillac tailfins.

OldFart, those were fantastic. Dang, I wish the Mrs. and I could have driven up for that. Looks like you had a great time.
