Head on. HIT ME WITH A HAMMER IN THE FOREHEAD! :banghead:

i saw a new one.

the woman is just about to say ‘head on, apply it directly to the forehead!’ in her annoyingly repetitive and chipper voice, and this guy cuts in and says ‘i hate your commercial! but i LOVE your product.’

made me lmfao.

Double Hey! from me

I think the Mucinex commercials are gross

and there is an advert in the UK for the Punto Grande car that destroyed a Marilyn Manson song that I actually like.

I'm starting to get a little tired of that "Get Flushed" commercial...or whatever movie that is.

scotzoidman 10-20-2006 11:15 AM

I've about had it with the dorkmeisters in the vehix.com ads...talk about milking an idea dry...

Mae 10-20-2006 05:40 PM

Just about all of the used (pardon me "pre-owned") car commercials. The guy yells and exhorts you to BUY NOW! Which brings to mind the infomercials of "BUT WAIT..." fame. :curse:

***Forgot to mention Billy Mays of Oxyclean and Orange Glo and......

I recall someone suggesting, comedically, that the car ads all have an announcer shouting at us, while flashing huge numbers on the screen to make sure we got the message...which seems to indicate that dealers want to sell cars to people that are nearly blind AND hard of hearing as well... :yikes:

:thumb: yeh, I can't stand that blithering loudmouth Hays either...

dicksbro 10-21-2006 03:51 AM

After reading all these, I must agree ... all of the above. :(

scotzoidman 09-01-2007 09:53 PM

New addition, all pharma ads in general...as Bill Mohr says, "If you have to ask you dr for drugs, isn't he just a dealer?"

Specifically, the one ad that says, "Tell your doctor if you have advanced liver disease..."

Whoawhoawhoawhoawhoa...I expect my doctor to tell me if I have liver disease...

It's in Canada, too. :(

There's a Toronto ad for Oliver's jewelers. The guy appears in annoying outfits, etc. acting like a car salesman. He buys and sells. He even says he'll buy your gold teeth. WTF?

Ha! I found a spoof of his commercial on youtube:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=lD3YfF4N2jQ

He references the gold teeth around 00:30

Doomsday 09-03-2007 10:54 AM

Eh? Those Pepto Commercials annoy me greatly... it's not so much the jingle as the stupid annoying dance they do as singing it.

wyndhy 09-04-2007 08:53 AM

i've been seeing a commercial for some diet pill lately - "eat all you want and still lose weight! if it wasn't true, we couldn't say it on tv!"

WTF? since when?

We have a guy like that here in CT. Good Ol' Tom.

And I don't care if yours was a spoof...that bit about the teeth creeped me out! lmao

dicksbro 09-05-2007 05:58 AM

Political commercials of any kind (and by any candidate).
