I just spoke to my doctor and he indicates that to be a bad idea. You can keep the head, but the neck's gotta go! :D I suggest trying something that treats post-nasal drip. Dimetapp Elixir (the purple stuff) worked well when Mrs. WI similar symptoms. Or better yet...talk to the pharmacist in your local grocery store. They often know better than doctors what you should take. Hope you feel better soon. (((((Lil))))) |
Not to hijack this thread or nothing...but it's strange that the pharmacist know more about the meds and such that the doctors perscribe.

My old remedy would have been liberal amounts of rest and Wild Turkey. It has worked on occasion.

Not at all, when you think about it. There are new drugs tested & approved all the time. The pharmacist dispensing them needs to know all about them whereas doctors tend to wait for the sales rep to tell them about it. Doctors know illnesses...pharmacists know drugs. ;) |
Yep, dairy is bad. Pharmacists are smart peeps. My aunt is a pharmacist & saved her mother's/my grammy's life when she discovered that my nanny's heart was racing. She quickly deduced it was the medication. Without her, my 94-year-old phenom would not be with us today.
Who prescribed that medicine? A doc, of course. :D |
Thanks for all your tips and concern. I just did my thing today and got through it. Now I plan to spend 3 days not talking.
