Since all of a woman's places are sexy, I guess anywhere I found a tattoo would be the sexiest place.

It's not what you have done, or where you put it that counts. It's all in how you wear it.

I'll have to join Loulabelle in the minority here. I really do not like tatoos at all. As for all the ones that have a like for the ones on the lower back, I once heard to it refered to as a "tramp stamp" by a friend's fiance. I know... that is not very kind of her and more than likely insults a lot of you tatto havin' folks... but I giggled when I heard her name for it (I am sure it was not original to her).

/me goes and ducks the angry stares

Loulabelle 12-30-2004 08:51 AM

LOL @ MilkToast - Fussy and I call it the 'Porn Star' tattoo since they spend so much of their time, bent over with their arses in the air, it's the only way you can distinguish one porn star from another!

I have one...but I didn't do it for "sexy" reasons. I purposely put it in an area that won't sag or droop in time. It's small, but meaningful (ie: has an actual purpose other than shock art).

I like tats...with taste. I like classy, delicate...almost fragile, curvy, colorful and dainty on a woman's body. Some of the ones from the link Chey put up are prime examples. Some look as though they were drawn in a single, flowing line from a fine tipped pen. Others on that page were too harsh. If the artist who does it has a steady hand, it will make for a delicate finish.

A hip tat (above the butt cheek) is pretty...the lower back (center) is nice too (but can be extremely painful, I bet...because, the less skin the more painful)...something tiny on an ass cheek is sexy...high up the thigh, in the front, just invading the panty line, between the hip and pelvic bone is another sexy place. But wherever/whatever it is...if it's delicate and fine and dainty, and not heavy handed and large, it can be really sexy.

A tat on a woman is not so sexy if she has to dress to the nines for a formal event and has...a large fire breathing dragon chasing a troll over a rainbow, high up on a purplish/blue mountain top with snow at the peak...plastered across her entire upper arm or her lower leg. I've seen stuff like that and it's not as pretty a picture as I think they might have imagined it when they initially got the thing. Maybe they never thought they'd have to be a bridesmaid or they never thought they'd go to a fancy ball, or so on and so on...but it could happen.

Just remember...someday it may have to be bared in a public situation. Ask yourself before getting it...do I want the world to see this here?

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm???????????????????

well i don't really like long term tats but there IS something sexy about them on a hot lady just above the ass crack and on the front low next to the mound of love very private very sexy so if they disapeared before fading i'd love em did i make any sense ???? :wobble: :wobble: :wobble:

I don't like tattoos and I am married to a man covered in them who has forever wanted me to get one. :D But I am not going through that kind of pain when they make very nice temporary ones.

Stud says the lower back is his favorite spot. Agrees with Aqua on this. He says just one not a bunch of them because that is not attractive. :thumb:

I have one... and think it's a combination of location and what the tattoo is that adds some sort of sex appeal. I've not been told that mine is sexy, but most people are surprised when they find it. In most outward appearances people assume I'm rather conservative (part of why it's not often seen), but if I'm wearing something that shows my ankles undoubtedly someone spots it and remarks on the shock of it. It's not huge, but not tiny either. I picked it not necessarily because it has much meaning to me, but rather because it is something that I won't mind looking at as I grow old.

I can't tell you the countless people that have scratched at it, trying to make it peel to verify it as being temporary. I've had it for five years, and one factor in choosing the location was my single status. I didn't want it to be something that may limit my choices in bridal gowns.

osuche 12-31-2004 03:11 PM

I am not a fan either...but it's your body and you need to make YOU happy. :D

IowaMan 12-31-2004 03:13 PM

I don't find them to be necessarily a turn-on or a turn-off. The way I see it, if a lady wants one, it's her choice and as long as she's happy with it then it's fine by me.

I've never dated someone with body art though. There was one time, way back when I was in college, that my girlfriend decided to surprise me by getting a temporary one just to see my reaction. Actually, she got two of them and it was really sort of funny. She had bullseyes put on the small of her back and right between her belly button and her bush. I've gotta say, that was sort of a fun turn-on. I put in a lot of target practice that weekend.

i have one on my inner ankle. It's purposefully placed in a place that won't droop or sag (much) and can be covered when I need to look nice or professional.

As far as if they are sexy or not, they can go either way. It really depend on the tat, and the person. Skull and crossbones is never sexy, but something discreet and meaningful and suprising can be really hot.

It's your body, knock yourself out if you want it.

And just for the record, it didn't hurt at all.

not sure how i feel

I'm not so sure how I feel about the whole tattoo situation at this point. I personally haven't found anything I'd want hanging off of my when I'm 80, but there's also not been a real meaningful event in my life that I felt the need to mark on my body. I work with a lady who has 2 full sleeves, kind of a patchwork deal to mark different life events. She once classifed them as her hand-picked stretch marks. It made sense- kind of a euphemism for the marks life events sometimes leave on us. I also have a friend who has a small tribal dragon in the small of her back. She chose the dragon after a pretty traumatic event because it is 'the protector of the lady'. I like the ones with story and meaning, and as said before, kind of the same way I like jewelry-- the antiques and the ones with real meaning and history are the ones that strike my fancy.

BIBI 01-24-2005 01:22 AM

I have a tatoo. I got it on my 45th birthday.....gift from my daughter

Cute little ladybug that won't ever sag but may grow due to swollen ankles when I am old. :) I can see all the old folks in the home swatting my ankle with their fly swatters!

My friend has a little piggy on her big toe and another has a stickman with a lawnmower on her pubic area. Another has 6....all hidden. It's a big decision to make but I don't regret it for a second.

Sharni 01-24-2005 03:50 AM

Not a fan of mass body art....but the odd one or two i think looks great

I'm gonna get me one eventually (when i pluck up the courage *LOL*)

Ankles, Shoulder blade, Hip, Small of your back are some of the sexy places i reckon

Ranger1930 01-24-2005 01:09 PM

in my opinion something tasteful at the base of the spine just above the turn of your rump.. maybe dipping lightly down over the cheeks.. Adds quite a touch when ye are from behind =)
