Just curious is all...Bill Hicks, a comedian who I'm a big fan of, used to claim psilocybin mushrooms as accelerators for our evolution, and as a materialist, I'm skeptical of anything that claims to reveal spiritual connections.

There isn't a drug in the world, especially a hallucinogen, that's going to speed up our evolution.

Sounds to me like he's been doing a few too many drugs himself.

I spent a week or so on shrooms during October. I think they did leave me with interesting thoughts and views but Belial, ya need to ingest them and be ready for them and judge them on your own and their merit.

I think psychedelics made me realize that because I was doing them, I was on the outer fringe of society anyway. It's not like I was going to phone my mom and tell her I was eating a gram of shrooms.

Your path is your path and there are many sites on the net to help. I did them for fun but they (e, crystal, shrooms, etc.) also gave me a new view on life, my writing.
