Also you will need to type your nick in the box that says "Enter Nick" it does not auto fill now.

There we go, I have the right style set now. Cool!

Lilith...just tried it (1:45 pm PDT) and it worked FINE....no error message, no problems. Just make sure to only click the chat link ONCE...double clicking it loads it twice.

THANKS for getting this back. :)

Romial 08-14-2004 04:44 PM

Any chance you can make it just a little less smaller? It stretches out my page. :(

Romial, I'm sorry I don't understand what you are asking. What is too small? and how does something being small "stretch" your page?

Irish we have Six Flags here in Ohio and they run the ads nonstop. Used to find them cute now they annoy me lol. Woohoo it's working again. thanks to the magical little elves who fixed it.

Just checked and I"m still getting the error message. I have the vbulletin 3 style set too.

Lilith 08-14-2004 07:46 PM

MilkToast 08-15-2004 12:16 AM

The trade offs of that possibility, a really shitty search capability, and some other meaningful things, for a new paint job is starting to become a true question.

Actually the trade off is that malicious code and can not be run against the bulletin board by the average (or not so average, but non-authorized) poster and cause the whole thing to crash the database. It was getting common on sites that use the older version of Vbulletin. That is what in most cases forced the upgrade to the newer version. I'll take no chat and/or shoutbox instead of no Pixies at all.

It works but I still can't get the hang of registering my Nick.

So the terrorists win here too.
Lock it down and to where nothing works and we can just post to the Smut Games.

Looks like this new Homeland Security version of Vbulletin is working well.

Frankly I like this search much better....allows me to search exactly the area I am interested in or a broader one by nick or by keyword same as before. What exactly is the problem? If it's the last 500 posts on a nick search, there are ways around that but you have to look in each forum. It's hard on the database and slows shit down (if it were busy and peeps were all using it) so now you have to seriously want the info. Most don't, for those who do, there's loopholes.

I am sure that chat will be corrected very soon. If the error is bothersome (and it was to me) please use the old link until things are sorted. Thanks!
