PF I didn't remember the Blackjack Gum because I'd only chewed "Clove" gum.

Lilith 01-25-2004 02:47 PM

You can still buy both. I always put it in stockings.

dancingrugger 01-25-2004 02:47 PM

Yeah I'm just gonna go crawl back on over to my crib & grab my binkie.

Granted I know of all of them .... just can't say I "remember"

musketeer 01-25-2004 03:48 PM

In the UK we had Blackjacks but they were a liquorice flavour chew, I switched the US meaning for the UK one.

Scarecrow,

Um, 21 here.

But hey! That's GOOD dirt.

Sugarsprinkles 01-25-2004 10:26 PM

Older than dirt here too, but I'm in good company with PF, dicksbro, BIBI, Scarecrow, CGT, Cobalt. Lilith, et al.

Speaking of the Blackjack and Clove chewing gum....I never cared for those as much as I like Beeman's Pepsin Chewing gum.
Does anyone remember FanTan chewing gum???

exhib_it_all 01-26-2004 01:45 AM

I remembered 12 of them...

I guess that means I'm still MUD eh?

Irish 01-26-2004 03:44 PM

24 out of 25.I'm not sure what was meant by party lines,so that
was the one!You forgot those little 1/2 round candies that were on paper sheets.I don't remember what they were called. Irish

DIRT!!

PantyFanatic 01-26-2004 05:04 PM

I think those were ccalled "DOTS", Irish. They were pink and green and yellow etc. I saw some "reproductions" a few years back, but they weren't as good as I remembered. (What is? ;) )

Lilith 01-26-2004 05:10 PM

Yep...dots! I ate them too. Nothing better than some sugar stuck to paper, that inveriably ends up in your mouth to say the good ole days :D

sfcretired 01-27-2004 09:09 AM

24 of 25, I don't really remember the Studebaker. I reckon it's official, I'm old as the hills.:D

SuccubusKitty 01-27-2004 01:21 PM

I remembered nine...and I am only twenty five. I guess that means my parents collected old stuff? :)

curvyredhead 01-30-2004 09:41 PM

13...
How'd I get that old?? Boy it really sneaks up on ya!

curvyredhead 01-30-2004 09:45 PM

Don't know any one who owns a Studebaker, but I've got a friend with an Edisel

LixyChick 01-31-2004 03:47 PM

22 here.......(though I know of them all) *calls my pet dinosaur over to give her a "Pixie Stick"*

Can't believe they (Pixie Sticks) weren't on there! Who remembers those?

OMG.......and to this day I hate the thought of those metal ice-cube trays! I'd never open one if someone was around to do it for me.....and I'd stick my fingers in my ears as they did it, so that I couldn't here the crackle! If I HAD to open one myself....I would run it under water and shrink the cubes and get all the dryness (from it being frozen) off it before I would crack it open! Ewwwwwwww......gives me the heebie jeebies just remembering them! Fingernails on a chalk board don't hold a candle to the shivers I got/get from metal ice-cube trays!!!!!!
