Update
Got the news on here, which is going into this whole thing quite in-depth (for a change!!)
Apparently, Dolly was born with genes as OLD as it's mother!! It seems she didn't die naturally, either; she suffered from severe arthritis and chronic lung disease, and had to be "put down". From what this Doctor has said here (on GMTV, for Brit members) he's claiming he managed to create this "clone" first time....... as opposed to 147 failed attempts with Dolly! What are the odds, d'you think? DM |
Yes rapid aging, so for cloning to work you need to take them at birth to be used later.

Gentlefolk,
It seems that the attempt by Dr. Zavos to clone a human has failed. Dr. Zavos's team checked for a hormone which would indicate a pregnancy had developed two to three weeks after the embryo was implanted - but the results were negative. The scientist has said that the materials and methods he used in his research will be published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal "in the near future." Dr. Zavos told the London press conference: "Successful or not, we are going to do another one and another one and another until we succeed." If anyone is interested in seeing how a thoroughly modern scientist markets his wares, http://www.zavos.org/ |
Am I the only one concerned that there's an American fertility specialist named Panayiotis Zavos?
