Don't get me wrong Jenna, I'm not being all male P.C. on this one. Steph's thread did remind me that a lot of UK girls/women do laugh as in the funny video clip shows. I admit when someone took a bad blow in the knackers when playing rugby, we used to say "Don't rub them - count them!"
I think that it is because it has been part of the British slapstick tradition for a long time. I remember Frank Spencer in Some Mothers Do Ave'em. He was always bruiseing his gonads and pulling very funny faces. I was about to say that you American Girls are so much more sensitive to male problems - but then I remembered Mrs. Bobbit. |
Oh I believe she was VERY sensitive to the male problem she was creating.:D

My mistake! *strips and bends* [I baited that hook good and proper on this one....didn't I? :D ] |
well I confess to laughing cos it does look funny and it wasn't me LOL . But I also know the pain, i was playing cricket as the wicket keeper and through sheer stupidity I didnt wear a "frog", a scrotal proctector and of course the ball went through the gloves and collected me in the balls. That is when 3 really is a crowd LOL.
For those not acquainted with a circket ball, it is very hard and leather cased, much harder than a baseball. I had badly bruised nuts and they swelled as well. the other players laughed too and some years later I could see the funny side :) |
Yeah, I laugh...Kinda like watching a train wreck.
Strangely funny, and painful at the same time. |
I never laugh...I can imagine the pain!
