Probably a bit of everything but usually ... to mention something about one of their postings or to comment on a new avatar or just to say hello.

mainly I use PM to express a personal appreciation of what the person has said ..... or to say hi to someone I may not have spoken to in awhile .... of course both may include a bit of flirting in the process.

I rarely use pm's they feel so dirty :d a few people have pm'd me, but I will protect the names of the guilty :D

I PM for different reasons to talk, because I find a interesting connection or to flirt too I like someone who just is nt interested in sex but someone who can carry a conversation I will answer all PMs I get which are rare lol

I use the PM when I want to send someone a message that does not belong in the open discussion of the forums. This board is a little different in that pretty much any and all topics come up in the discussion threads so PM here is not as needed as on forums where they are very strict about content.

I don't PM, if I was to I would ask first and keep it above the line and civil.

I normal just answer others PM's(not many) or to reserve my space in the dungeon:D ;)

I only PM when I know it's someone I enjoy talking to and someone I know would be My Friend. The friends here that I PM are just that. Love You Guys. :)

I usually spend my time answering other people's PMs rather than initiating contact with them.

The one notable exception to that is Fussy, whom I PMed out of the blue for no reason what-so-ever really. Just felt like it at the time.

I rarely initiate a PM......but I love to read and answer them when I get them. It's the first thing I do when I log in. Sending alot of thanks for compliments or giving a reason for certain things I say or do here are usually what my responses are about.

There are a few Pixies who have compelled me to PM them first........and that's all I have to say about that!

I PM mainly to communicate with friends but occassionally to compliment a post or welcome them.
