Terribly sorry for confusing you, I had though the idiom was wider spread than it seems to be.

Horseballs! You didn't just confuse me jseal.....seems you always have an answer, no matter how unbelievable it may be. And most times condesending too I might add. If you had kept up on the overnight logs you would have noticed that I had already received the box a few days ago.

Why did Lazaruslong deserve the "great hit" then? What did he do?

jseal 09-22-2005 08:58 AM

BIBI,

There’s no need for harsh words. I prefer to not offer an explanation if I feel I have none. As for unbelievable, well, I cannot help you with that. Your experiences are different than mine. Yes mam, I am quite aware that you had received the package. I have indeed been following the thread of the package I sent along.

In re the good hit, as Lazaruslong probably is aware of the origins of his nic, I thought that it was a play on words. As such, I found it amusing.

I am surprised that you take exception to my explanation. You referred to “…don't confuse us more than we already are …”, and I took your statement at face value. At the time, it seemed like a reasonable thing to do.

The package is on its way. I just mailed it and so you can expect it by Christmas lol.

PantyFanatic 09-22-2005 12:46 PM

That’s great Bibi. :jump:

I have two questions about it now.

1. You sent it ‘down’ the list and not back ‘up’ the list, right? :rolleyes2

2. There’s nothing ticking in the package now, right? :rolleyes2

I followed you, jseal. Although I've never heard the term in foosball. That's probably why I lose so much.

Safe journey, good package, may you make it to your next stop quickly!

fredchabotnick,

I once was OK at foosball. 4 years ago, I made the mistake of playing the young bucks. I won’t do THAT again. :(

The important thing is that the Package is back, and on the way to…?

Harsh? More exasparated and deservedly so. You don't ever look back and say 'whoa, I really spoke down to people with my big words that I just looked up in the thesaurus'?

You're telling me you don't get off on posting certain things? You don't think you're showing people up? Come now, don't be discourteous by denying your palace guard ways.

This is a thread about package 1, which I hope someday makes its way to me...so I'll make this brief.

The last thing we need to do -- in the midst of so much sadness and suffering thanks to Iraq, Katrina, and Rita -- is to pick on one another. That's the type of verbal abuse that makes other sites untenable to me.....and which Pixies has only been occasionally guilty of.

I personally enjoy jseal's humor. He's a grown man and doesn't need me to defend him....but I will say one more thing. Every time you define being an intelligent person and bringing up topics of conversation which might actually spark THOUGHT as discourteous you make ME feel unwelcome at Pixies. And you guys are the closest thing to my family away from home.

I cannot even express to you how sad I felt when I clicked on this thread -- one I eagerly watch -- FIRST after two days gone from the site, and found my long-time Pixies friends attacking each other.

Aren't we better than this?
