Looks like a great place to have a bit of a picnic, doesn't it? :)

Lord Snow 03-26-2009 07:42 PM

I have a pellet with that squirrel's name on it. LOL.

So does that mean you guys are in? :) Or, does the squirrel win by default? :(

So would we be staying in Holland then for sure?

Yes we will be staying at the Microtel Inn & Suites in Holland(link above), the dates are July 17 - 19. Some of us may come a day early and stay a day later. So anyone interested this looks like it is a go.

PantyFanatic 03-27-2009 03:52 PM

Exactly what he ^^^ said, AV.

My reservation is made for those dates and I was told that even while we can't guarantee a group of 9 or more rooms, they will try to give us rooms near each other if requested when making your reservation. For whatever reason, we have learned that trying to get 'clustered' under a group name seems not to work well for any of them. I spoke with a "Rose" actually in Holland (not a reservation center) that recommended requesting a location near a person is easier for them. She also recommended that due to July being the height of vacation season, reservation should be made by May 1st, especially if we want to get grouped near by.
You can PM me or any of the other Pixies with any detail questions.

dicksbro 03-27-2009 07:18 PM

We haven't yet, but expect to make the reservations in April.

PantyFanatic 03-27-2009 08:48 PM

BTW-

When I entered my search data and AARP from Microtel's reservation page, I they showed rooms at USD $62.10. :thumb:

Wins by default unfortunately. I don't even have the money to go up to Connecticut with my Dad next month. Sorry.

AZRedHot 03-28-2009 04:55 PM

Wow, a lot of catching up to do on this thread. Mr. AZRH and I will be in Wisconsin the week after, and just can't get the time off to do both. However, Vegas in 2010 might be very doable. Even driveable, for us. So we'll hold onto that hope.

Hope you all have extra fun for us! And then tell me aaaalllll about it. :D

Rats. We were looking forward to seeing you guys again! Just take care!

Just a note...Vegas is in need of tourists. MGM shares have dropped 95% and most construction in town has ground to a halt. The big casinos are taking huge hits. Soooo....it might be a very good option should y'all decide Vegas is a go. Might be able to get a good deal on something there if you book early. Good luck!

Lord Snow 03-29-2009 10:10 PM

^^^^^^Makes me wonder if I should tell my cousin who plans on moving out there at the end of June........Nah, I feel like being mean to him. However, with a year till 2010 I'll see about getting the money together for it. Never know, I might win the lotto and decide to do a PAGAN in Jamaica or some other tropical island and fly all of us down there. We'll call it a business meeting for tax purposes. Better yet research and development. Make PF the case study. LOL.
