My thoughts are currently to chaotic to list... I just know sometimes I wish I was not here.... but I know I can't do anything about it.... so I am stuck between a nonlife and no life at all....

Why is it that everytime I try and be serious you guys get all weird on me....thats it...I am not going to be serious anymore.

My question is...why am I the only one in the U.S. working on this holiday? (grumble, grumble, fuss, fuss)

...begs to differ...I am working, well at work...the working part is negotiable

I was chewed out by a social worker I know for working today. She told me that it was a damnation of sorts to work today. I told her it was my impression that MLK believed in hard work, so I was honoring him by working....she told me to fuck off, *shrugs*

And those of us in the legal field *never* seem to follow "legal holidays." :)

STO tell me why I picked a job where there is NO SUCH THING as a holiday when you are considered mission critical? And while I'm at it......give me directions to get through those mountains, you need a naked wise woman up there with you(men can never handle these things on their own)

It depends on the Tootsie Roll pop eater--me, I'm personally with Lilith: give me a blow pop--but I'm not patient enough on either one. I go right for the gusto. ;)

Yes they are always in the last place you look.

Kleclere, in my house the rule on keys is that they are always where you left them last...so in my SO's case, he can't ever find them and needs me to remind him where he placed them when he came home...same goes for his wallet, his cell phone, his tape measure...etc etc etc

Do men marry just to have an extension of their mother?

What's worse is that I have it at work, too. I've told both of my male bosses that I consider myself their den mother.
