Here is the scenerio.....


Yesterday I happened to run into an old acquaintence... a guy I worked with long ago... a very nice guy who I was really interested in back then. I have run into him several times over the last 5 years.... and altho I have continued to think warm thoughts about him... he was married..

Needless to say I was pleasantly shocked when I saw him and he greeted me with the biggest warmest strong long hug that I can ever remember...

anyway.. we spoke for awhile.. he is now divorced... (good)... and unemployed (he was at my office trying to speak with someone regarding assistance to return to school)... it was nice to talk with him again... we exchanged numbers... I even mentioned that I might have a party to drag him too...

Now... my decision is... do I wait a few days.. see if he calls me.... or do I call him???

If he does not call today, I'd call him tomorrow.

Call him. He was obviously glad to see you. He will equally be glad to hear from you :)

I think that this may be a test for me...

Just think.....he may be wondering the same thing as you are - you never know unless you try! I would wait a few days and call him - ask him to lunch maybe.

Call him! He's either going to go or not go to the party. If he doesn't go, you can always use the party as an opportunity to hook up with someone!

You know what to do, stop delaying :P Be assertive and go get what you want, the worst that happens is he declines (yeah I know, rejection is no fun, but I am just putting it in the most basic of terms). Oh yeah, and if you don't act on it, I will fly in and beat you :P

Call him. Given that he just got divorced and doesn't have a job...he probably won't call you first. Men have this funny ego problem when they have such issues in their lives. Even if he isn't available, you'll make him feel wonderful -- good for both him and you!

Haven't called him yet.. thinking about calling him tomorrow.. spend the day cleaning.. and invite him over for a movie maybe???...

Call him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he can only say no, and if you don't you might regret it for along time...:-)
