lol, we got lost on Lost. But seriously, when do the festivities begin? Friday night? Saturday morning? We need to know so we can plan childcare and travel plans and such. We do have a room booked at the hotel though :)

In the past years we have had a schedule of all the attractions and events available and a VERY flexible agenda where we would pick and chose as the interest guided. About the only thing set in stone is the Saturday dinner (like we hadn't already spent enough time in front of a table :faint: ). Fridays have been 'go with the flow' as members drift in.

Yep, we're going to get there early on the 16th if we can and see if an early check-in is possible. Then, we'll run over to Grand Rapids airport to see if PF has landed and pick him up to return to Holland. Suspect we'll all three be there before 3PM.

Just checked out the 10 day forcast they are calling for sun in the low 80's so it looking like a perfect week end if they are right.

Well, we'll start getting packed tomorrow. We're going up to Plainfield near Joliet, IL and spend Wednesday night with our daughter and her family. Then, leave early Thursday for Holland. Hoping we can get checked in at the motel then drive over to Grand Rapids to pick up PF at the airport. Then, back to the hotel for a bit of relaxation before supper. :)

this is Lizz, just texting ya to let ya know that we are still on the road at 13:43 central. we, too, had a fab time. when we talk about all the visiting, mayhem and i are all smiles :D:D:D:D:D

The only low point of our event was a call from one of our members that was NOT able to be with us and TRULY not for lack of trying or wanting (http://www.pixies-place.com:81/forums/showpost.php?p=1691940&postcount=294) to be. :boohoo: She had a passport requirement that was well within the time frame given but it turned into a bureaucratic labyrinth with being a 'naturalized' Canadian for almost her entire life. (almost being the key word :hair: ) We got our call on Friday afternoon from outside the Passport Office where she could only hear the pasted echoes of "we should have it by then". She told us she had even left her dog with the neighbor that was going to be taking care of him and had her suitcase in the car, hoping the effects of 'not really being ready' would be canceled. This was not a happy moment for her after the oil change and tune-up nor for us. :( I hope it doesn't show for another month or two because if it is there today or tomorrow, there are a bunch of us that might want to do bad things to a government building. :mad:
