The bar is fun. I went with 2 other girls last night, got to dress nice and hot, and got to sweat in a large mass of other sweaty humans. The bar is fun.
I think that's about the 5th time since I turned 21 that I've gone to the bar. Not a big bar person, but I like clubs. Oddly, I was getting 'picked up' more than the other two, who are available, and were far more sociable with the guys.
It's nice getting some attention, but pawing is a bit nnessecary. ;) I had a few requet 'bathroom' trips to escape overly touchy dancers.
Did I mention that the bar is fun?

Glad to hear you had a great time Gilly... bar's have never been my kinda place... I am not one who feels comfortable in LOUD crowds... I am more of a one - on - one quiet chats...

Yeah, the loudness wasn't fun. Neither was the crowding around. Let's just say I'm glad I had my meds. ;) There were more than a few moments I had to go outside by myself and take a breath. The dance floor in that one was about 20ftx20ft, and had about 250 people crammed onto it. Talk about no respect for personal space. ;)

Never was much for the bars or clubs, even in the days when I partook in "nefarious" acts ;) However, it was always fun to go out with my friends, and watch my one friend who possessed the "kavorka" (Seinfeld fans will understand), and watch as we were left with nothing lol!
As for the packed dance floor, oh come now Gilly! This is the perfect opportunity for someone to cop a quick feel! :D j/k *chuckle*

I'll have to post pictures in a few days- one of the girls who went brought a digi cam, and was camera happy last night. :)

Gilly---Have you ever seen Toby Kieths(sp?) video of his song- I love, this bar!.It reminds me of a "biker bar" that I used to belong to.The "regulars" even had their own "T" shirts with the bars name!Glad you enjoyed yourself.Bars(like everything)have their
place.I don't drink anymore but I miss the "comradarie"of some of
those bars! Irish
P.S.I still have a "T" shirt,hanging in my garage.It is dark blue,with
the word "Riccos" on it!I took my wife there once & she couldn't
beleive how wild it was!

Ah Irish! Sounds like "The Spur", a rough pub with heart that I was known to frequent in St. John's, NF. The regulars were a trip!

"Riccos" was a regular bar,but it was the "unofficial"biker bar of
Portsmouth NH.Even if you weren't drinking,that night,all of the
bikers, stopped there,on their way out & in,just to make sure that
no one had a problem.People that hated each other, stood up for
each other, because they were Riccos regulars. It was a rowdy
place.The owner(Ricco)always carried three(3) handguns,& the
Lowell Mass.,enforcer for their chapter,of the Hells Angels, rented
an apartment, upstairs but there was still something happening
everynight!Outsiders(wife included)didn't understand the rapor of the place, but it was a "classic"! Irish
P.S.Ricco died of cancer,a few years ago.He can't ever be replaced!I went to the "enforcers"(Flip)baptism. The last I saw him.
he was going to a "Bible" school,in Vermont,& riding a 10 speed,
yellow English bycicle.I guess everything changes, over time!

The Spur didn't have guns but we had scumbags.
One guy who spread rumours about an alleged "event" between us that didn't take place was turfed out by men who don't tolerate such things.
The people might be eccentric but they're loyal, like Labs.

Ok, got pics back :) Most of them taken didn't turn out due to lighting, so I only have one from shooting pool. Scratch that, only 1 I like. ;)
