View Full Version : Remodeled BUMP

I started a thread a while back that I was about to bump in hopes of getting the views from some of the newer members. My interest was what views do our younger members have with the marked advantage of basically sitting around with and joining in very open, sometimes serious, sometime joking, but very honest, intimate, sexual topics and personal conversations.
I do think that even in todays world, it could be a bit awkward or uncomfortable to do this face to face merely because of the age-segregating brackets that society has evolved and we learned to adapt to. I want to expand the request for prospectives to all the ages here at Pixies. We have members from 18 to 60’s and even 70’s I believe. I’m sure the emergence of the web and specifically Pixies, has broadened the scope of ourselves as a sexual being for ALL of us.
The realization that none of us discovered sex and our parents are the gene pool that spawned our own perving passions, tells me this is not a social, but the most common impulse of our species that is not separated by age but only experiences.
How, if at all, has your opinion changed about people NOT in your own age group due to this open exchange that our Pixies and this media has made?

I grew up in a traditional Catholic household and we simply did not talk about sex. As I've gotten older...and wiser...I've realized that it's still not proper to talk about sex with most of my friends. I find that most (almost all) of my friends are not as open-minded as I am on the subject, so I just don't bring it up.
Of course I *do* live in the midwest...and I do spend most of my time with conservative professionals...so I've probably stacked the deck against myself.
Regardless, Pixies has given me a forum to discuss my strange thoughts and to understand the likes/tastes of others. I've picked up a few tips, but mostly I just enjoy having a forum where I can say what I want.
As for the multi-generational thing...I haven't suddenly been surprised that older (and younger!) folks have the same thoughts/needs/questions that I do...but it has been nice getting the more mature perspective at times.
I am still hoping that you old dogs can teach this young pup some new tricks...

but i see male open up sex topic whenever they talk with their friends or even bring up to talk to female as well. They talk very open and don't care anything. isn't it?
why the female has to hide herself when she talk about sex in public in the past long long time ago and until now. society still say that woman shouldn't talk sex too much. but not man ??? man never care since back to history till now

Growing up in a very conservative household, sex was never brought up. I also moved out of my house out of state when I first left home. I didnt have friends to talk with (and still dont) to talk with about sexual things. I am very greatful for the wisdom and intellegence of the older more experienced pixies here. If I had just as open friends in real life, then reguarless their age I would love to talk to/with them about the subject. :)

I had to grow up rather quickly because of my environment (drugs, politically motivated violence, etc.) so I was exposed to (consensual) sex at a rather young age. Although I would like to believe I'm open minded, I was surprised by the variety of sexual interests and experiences encountered here. And, I think, I'm much richer for having join and having converse with members of this board.

My mom gave me two talks about sex. The very scientific, this is how yours works, this is how hers works, this is exactly how a baby is created, etc. Then there was the other, don't do it until you both are ready (preferably at the age of 30 and married for 10 years ha ha), and if it's her first time, go slow, it's painful for her etc. That was it. No how to, no this is what you do when she does this, no use lube for anal, nothing. Being attached to this site has opened up my eyes to a lot of stuff I never would have thought or, or has gotten questions answered that I wasn't comfortable asking myself. To me the subject of sex, as to what you prefer and what not, has always been a private thing discussed with whomever you're with. Jokes, cat calls, and the appreciative comments to friends is open territory. So long as I know the person I'm making them to doesn't have a problem with it.
