Has a lover ever called you a pet name? Is there a word like sweetie, babe, hun, Mistress, that you like it when someone calls that?

Dork.
No. Really.
I think he loves me! LOL
OK ok ok, it's more like the feminine version, but it's said with such feeling that I'm sure the love is there...I'm positive!
He says with his sexy sexy voice............
"helloooooooooooooo dorkette!"
I almost wet myself with anticipation right then and there. :p

I've had four different people, including three men and all who never knew the others, call me "sunshine." Must be some sort of natural exuberance. :D

I tend not to use them with my SO, although I have a bad habit of nicknaming everyone else around me....usually something slightly derogatory.

He usually calls me sweetie.
Since his favorite movie is Monsters Inc. he sometimes goes with Schmoopsie-poo or Googley Bear.

I call Nat, babe, sweetheart, and sexy-baby.
She calls me cutie :)
"woman" said with just enough masculine aggressive tone ... of "lady" in a tender soft tone ..... usually the one I use is "babe" ... not into syrupy kind of pet names.

This thread is gonna be the death of me...........but I answer all the others so here goes..........
*blushing and kicking a stone with my toe* He calls me: snickum snookum, chicky, love monkey, honey, baby, sweetie, love muffin.......and many, many more depending on his mood. I swear I'm not making this up.......everyday when I come home from work I look forward to hearing what nickname he has in store for me. I always ask him if he's missed me all day and lately (since seeing a rerun of "Married With Children") he's answered, "Yes ___________(insert current nickname), with all 6 bullets"! LMAO! Gotta love him!
*blushing so loud now I gotta make a run from this thread*

I know that I detest being called baby. i am usually unaffected by name calling sweet or sour, but baby really ruffles my feathers.
I tend to use hun, sweetie, sweetheart or darling.

It depends on the person, but the right person saying something sounds so very sweet. I had this one girlfriend whenver she called me sweetie would just make me smile :)
I usually use hon myself for someone, although someone recently I started calling someone kitten because she reminded me of one, so sweet, and soft...*sigh*

If I'm happy ... he'd call me hun. If I'm not happy it's dear, as in "Yes, Dear."
I call pretty much everyone darlin, hun, sweetie or sugar. If I really like them, it's crackhead or crackchicken.
I never call anyone by their name if I can help it. *sighs* I am so broken. :multi:

I love to use pet names and usually they just start from some silly something that happened or something we've said. I used to call one of my gf's Precious, another was Dollbaby. It just sort of evolves during the course of things. As for being called any, hell just call when it's time to get frisky and I'm there. LOL
Reminds me of an old joke about the father who had just killed his first deer and brought home the venison for a meal. His wife cooked it up and served it without revealing it to the kids, Doris and Willie. As the meal gets started Dad asked the kids how was everything? They had only picked at the meat offerings, curious to know what is was. :"Well, just as a hint , it has the same name as one of the things your mom calls me." There was a moment of silent contemplation as suddenly Doris gasps and says
"Spit it out Willie, it's ASSHOLE!"

"Sticks and stones will break your bones"…
and that’s enough for me. I’m gone!
although lately I’ve been hearing “SHADDUP” a lot. Is that a term of endearment?

The guy I'm seeing calls me "cutie". I just like it... nobody else has ever really called me that... I've been babe, princess, even stud (and yes I did like that nickname... made the guy promise to never call anyone else that), and saucy bird.
