Reading/Deleting old PMs
I have a "duh" question. Even if I click on PMs for the past year, I can't figure out how to access the PMs that are older than those that appear on the first page or list of my PMs. I want to delete some of my older messages but just can't figure out how to access them. Can someone tell me how to get to them? Thanks!

I have never seen a second page of PMs, between PMs sent and message tracking it is always filling fast and I have to delete. Where does it show you that you have more than one page of PMs? Damn I learn something new everday!

I just checked my PMs and there's only one page in my inbox . . . I'm not sure where you would access the second page.

In the section on the main Pixies Place Forum page in my Private Message section, it says that I have 0 unread messages and 205 messages in my folders. Recently it told me that I couldn't receive a message from someone because my message section was full. I assumed that the 205 messages were all the messages I've received but not deleted yet. What would the 205 messages be then? Replies to threads I've posted? That wouldn't seem right since I think I've posted over 700. But if you can't get to another page of messages either, because there is none, that would explain my dilemma, too. BTW, thank you, Lilith and Steph.

It may just be your Inbox that's full BlueSwede... I think I read a while ago you can only have 75 (?) til it's full, so you'd just need to move some of them to other folders.
If it's NOT that, then I'm stumped too!! Sorry!

Thanks, DM. I don't have any folders, though. At least, I never created any. When I click on "folders," there are none listed on the folder page. And on that first page of PMs, there are only 10 on that list. Thus, I don't know what the heck or where the heck the "205 messages" in my "folders" are.

Did you look in the "sent" & "message tracking" folders?? (I'm guessing yes, but just covering all the bases I can think of!! )

DM, you're a genius! You were right. I have only 10 messages in my inbox, but I had 196 messages in my sentbox. I was able to see all 196 (which I deleted), so now I truly am down to my original 10 inbox messages. Thank you so much for clearing up that mystery and enabling me to clean out my message boxes--in and out.

I always take PM's that I care about saving and copy them off to another file and save it there. That's worked for me and let's me keep the number here down to 10-20 or so.
