I read this originally as I was leaving for work this morning... and like everyone else I am greatly saddened by this sudden turn of events..
There are many here that I feel a close connection with.. and that I will miss seeng here on a daily (if not hourly) basis. For those of you who helped me grow over this past year, I am forever indebted to you.
I have no doubt that a solution to this problem can be discovered.. Sharni starting a yahoo place is the beginning There are lots of intelligent people here who given the chance and the resources could come up with another wonderful place.. and I only hope that some are already giving it some thought.
Kim.. Thanks.. for offering up such a wonderful place.. I wish you much luck and happiness in your future... |

Forgot to say thankyou all who do stuff... moderators. Lilith,Shani,and anyone else who I have not named!
Also thanks to everyone who has made this a second family for me. This was the only site I regularly lurked at and the only site I have contributed to. And the reason for that was that everyone here is a special person. You don't judge you accept. This must surely be a truly special place! Also everyone was/is made to feel welcome into our family. I ve laughed and sighed.I smiled and been sad ( and am at the moment )

I don't feel particularly eloquent, just let it be enough to say that Pixies will leave a big hole. I am grateful for the enjoyment but will miss this place and it's people greatly.

Kim, we in the family have enjoyed the time here. But as in any family the members want to help each other not out of indebtedness but out of love for each other. I would hate to see this site die because of pride. I would pay to continue the love of this family. Friends that may never be heard from again. I hate having to go to funerals to see family. We all appreciate all that you have done Kim. But don't let the family meet at Pixies funeral please keep the family together even if it means paying. Thanks for listening. (Wiping tears from eyes)

Awww.. I'm going to miss this site in a very big way.. in the time that I've been here (2 years I think..) I've gotten to know some truly wonderful people.. I can only hope that this fine outstanding community in every sense of the word can continue on, somewhere,somehow.
Lilith, Sharni,PF,zoidman,IA,Lixy,Wickedwanda and oh god there's just so many of you I'm going to miss.. I don't even know if I can begin to list all of you.. I'll always hold a special place in my heart for each and every single one of you.
Kim, thank-you, and I really do thank-you, from the bottom-most depths of my heart for creating this site. May our travels cross again sometime, and.. I love the douglas Adams quote. Indeed.. now that we have the ultimate answer, if we could only figure out wtf the ultimate question is
