I may be taking a weekend trip down to visit my dad next weekend and am looking for good cheap hotels to stay in. Any ideas?

If you get off at the exit by the Oaks Mall. It's the first main one in G'ville there are several hotels there.

Dad was gonna try to get us a room at the lodge near him, but they're full...He's currently hooked up living in the Cross Creek Fishing Lodge Campground...They're full because of a Bass Tournament this weekend.
