Throwing $$ at it
What is it that you spend $$ on that ALWAYS is a complete waste?
I am constantly spending $$ on shit to use to deal with my Medusa snakes. Hair clips, scrunchies, bands, barrettes, shit you name it I end up with it stuck in a drawer cause it's either broke or useless.
Is there anything you do that is similar?

pots and pans....kitchen utensils. i see something that i think is neat and buy it, never to use it again.
i have about three pans that i love and use almost daily (and about 20 in the cupboard) and four or five knives (out of 15 or so) that i use for everything...even frenching beans. i bought a frencher once and used it exactly once and now it just sits it the drawer.
one niffty utensil i did buy that i don't regret is a whisk that, instead of being made of looped pieces of steel, it's made of sturdy, different lenghts of straight pieces with little balls on the end of each. makes the best damn scrambled eggs.

lotions and soaps... I buy them all the time and then don't end up using them... I've finally learned to just stay out of B&BW because I can't walk in there without walking out with a bagful of stuff that I will just not use. I get bored with the scents and switch to something new without emptying the bottle.

I love tools, calendar/organizers & pens. Notepads & journal books too.

i had no idea...did i? i don't think so. either way, that is waaaaaaaaay cool. i've thought about it....or being one of those personal chefs that are all the rage right now, or selling my deserts to locals restaurants. what was the largest thing you ever catered? why did you stop? what was your specialty?

Don't faint. I was primarily a church caterer. Did events and dinners, so as to not have to deal with licensing and inspections we cooked in the church kitchens. If it comes from your home then legally your home must pass inspection and that includes no pets. So we confined ourselves to wednesday night suppers for usually 50 and dinners, weddings, luncheons etc for up to 150.
i used to post about heading out to poison old peole...that meant wednesday night church suppers
