Welllllll...in my situation, it's a little different. I'll answer some of these pre-2005, if you don't mind.


1. Yes--I never forgot him.

2. Yes, I could.

3. I thought about him fairly frequently. I still analyzed that things that happened and I could've done differently, and I had a lot of regret.

4. No, and that made me/still makes me sad. Long story short, there was someone in my life after him who was more than a little threatened, and I was too young/naive to protect what was rightfully mine.

5. I did occasionally.

6. Yes, I could. During our first "real" conversation after reconnecting this spring, that's one of the things I told him--that I could still remember his birthday, his high school phone number, and the way he kissed me.

7. Every time I'm with him.

8. I am constantly amazed that we somehow stumbled upon each other and, on top of that, that the feelings were still there and have grown.

2. As he was then, yes. I hear he's bald[ing] now and I can't grasp that.
3. Yes...almost daily. Not for romantic reasons but because I have physical scars as a reminder.

5. Once in a great while he'll show up in a dream. It's usually a recurring or very similar dream as the last time I dreamt of him.

7. I doubt I'd be weak but some happy memories might make me smile.

I find the diversity of answers to be very interesting...obviously, first loves seem to be a mixed package...

My first love was, the last time I checked, working in the garden center at The Big Orange Home Improvement Store nearby (not too far from her old homestead, which was torn down for commercial building), which means she is not only there for me to see, but has frequent contact with the wife (Mrs Zoid would like to live at Home Depot)...seeing her now has left me with no regrets, & almost none of the old feelings I once had...I do keep a few warm memories of the good times we had, & I know I used to have a few momentos tucked away, but I haven't pulled the box out in years...
