Now I wish so many train tracks hadn't been pulled up and pitched. Be nice to see a lot ot the truck traffic traveling by rail. Fuel, highway maintenance costs, and the environment would all benefit.
I wish we had good rail passenger service that we could use instead of cars for a lot of our travels.
Oh well ... maybe I'll get use to the higher fuel bills.

We were at a dinner in Streator, IL last night (east of a town PantyFanatic made famous) ... and prices there were $3.34. We still at $3.45 here.

$3.41 was the best I saw yesterday. Most are still around $3.45.

$3.49 to 3.55, although more places are putting plastic bags over the pumps and not filling up as they don't have the money to purchase fuel. I suspect we will have a new thread started on the high cost of new shoes.!!
