Together

I long to see you, be with you
Feel your loving touch and warm embrace
To breathe the scent of you, your hair
your personal fragrance and know we're together.

Touch softly one moment; then
with passion burning almost beyond control
I long to hold your hand, move softly to
a music we each hear and then smile together.

I wait to touch your face when I wake
each morning; barely conscious myself,
then snuggle deep into your arms
