She had been seventeen that Christmas. Many things had happened during the next six. Her first year after graduating from the University of Virginia she moved to Chicago and started with a small environmental law group.

UVA had been stressful academically and Andy (the name that her little brother started calling her when he was 5) had all but forgotten that Christmas fitting room episode. During college she dated but none of them ever stuck.. and it never seemed to bother her.
