Austria-Hungary: Death of Gavrilo Princip (the assassin of Sarajevo 1914), age 22, in hospital of tuberculosis, Theresienstadt. The assassin of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and Sophie, the student Gavrilo Princip, who eradicated an entire era. At time of the crime with an age of 18 years, which precluded a death sentence against him, he dies in prison of tuberculosis:
