thanks for those who have tried to help with this issue...

as it turns out... apparently someone who lives in the same general vicinity as me has been overly obnoxious and has managed to get their ip klined from the chat room... sooo... on occasion, as i dialup, when i get caught with that same ip, i too am banned from the chatroom. it's a pain, but since they rarely kline an ip, i'm not going to fuss too much - they must have had their reasons... and hey, i'm moving in 3 months, i just hope to have cable at the new place!!!
