I think I should stay away for a while. I seem to care too much what people here say and write and think.
I am too curious not to come back to read what reactions have been posted about what I wrote, but I am not posting for while.

I hate to see you leave.....but I do understand the feeling. There have been times, just yesterday was one as a matter of fact, that I want to leave. But then I realize that I have made friends here too, and this is the way I can see how they are doing. I get too close to people and it's hard to tell how they are coming across when you only have email, chat or posting. I know not everyone likes me, but it's gonna be hard to get that to happen when you're dealing with thousands of people. So I just try to make myself happy.

Just make yourself happy, that's all that matters! Sending you hugs!

I'm gonna be totally selfish first and say, I will miss you!! Don't go!! :(

But only you know what you're feeling and if you think that going away for a little while will help, then you do what you've got to do. But always remember there are people here who do care for you and value your thoughts and opinions.

I realize you are mad...but I hope that you are not seriously going to let posts by people who do not know you or care, keep you away from those of us who have cared about you for years. Linda, I get hurt and upset too but in the end, the friends I have made here are worth more than the discomfort of a few posts or opinions that piss me off. A month ago tomorrow someone I loved very much killed himself partly I believe because he felt he could not be just who he was. We loved him exactly for who he was, just like we love you for being you. People can only hurt you if you let them. Avoiding people who love and care about you because others don't have the capacity or interest to be open to your ideals, is in my opinion, a mistake. Plus I'd miss you trying to seduce me :p

Linda -- I too understand...sometimes Pixies and I have a love-hate relationship. I personally enjoy your posts very much....you are an outspoken feminist and very interesting. I hope you do decide to come back, as I enjoy your point of view.

Linda, your voice is important here. Whether or not people disagree is irrelevant, your opinions and experiences are valuable to us all. For me personally, each day is an opportunity to experience something different about myself, and about the world at large. You are a part of that experience, and I really enjoy exploring the thoughts that you provoke.
