This is the no-sex part of my update, so it belongs here, I suppose.

No, my recent illness has NOTHING to do with my sexual history.

I am not a lapsed Catholic, I think of myself as an escaped Catholic.
I left the Church when I became sexually interested in women.
We had very different opinions on the matter.

I am very strident and vocal on lesbian and women's rights in general.
That extends to gay and transgendered rights as well.
Please don't assume I am not pro human rights for other groups just because I don't mention them here.

We have an orange penis running our country.

I own a gun, a pistol, that I am permitted to carry and do, and I am more than competent with it. I am a petite woman who drives a nice car, dresses well, and is able to protect herself.

I left Nursing, a profession I love, in part due to the destruction of medical care by bureaucracy- nurses are seldom allowed to do anything but paperwork, and still get little respect.

My husband, and my partner and I are now involved in real estate, and we are not agents.

We are doing well, and get to travel a bit for fun, not work. We have not left the US yet. We make frequent visits to New York, San Diego, Los Angeles, Santa Fe and Las Vegas.

Yes, when checking into a hotel we occasionally get a raised eyebrow at three people in one room, but we often stay in suites, which eliminates that.

I am very aware of the unconventional aspect of our marriage, and yes I do consider myself married to both.
