Agida

So I have it often lately. My Dr. thinks I've blown a hole.

Tell me how you really relax. What soothes you?

You have Rift Valley fever?

What soothes me? Sleep.

Music soothes my soul.

Oldfart 04-21-2009 07:58 PM

Lots of time to sleep once you're dead?

Music is good, sometimes. (Moonlight or Pathetique?)

Music and Sleep. Perhaps this will do.

Earbuds & my MP3, set for 2 hr sleep mode. Listing the nearly 2 Gb of random music would fill more space than the law allows, but suffice it to say I've got from Otis Redding & Beatles to Alice In Chains & Foo Fighters, with lots of choice cuts in between. Currently ripping my olde vinyl to digital so I can have it all.

One thing that has always put me out has been thunderstorms. Doesn't make a difference if it's morning noon or night. I just close my eyes listening to the music from the sky and I fall asleep. I know it's the sound because for quite a while I listened to a cd that was nothing but a giant thunderstorm. So the actual weather isn't a factor.

Sitting down to watch a Cubs game on tv and drinking an ice cold beer usually does the trick for me. If there's no ballgame on I like to just go sit on the back steps here at the house and just sort of take everything in.

Reading and watching erotica/porn. A hot shower. Cooking. Sometimes doing general cleaning. Taking in a movie at a cinema.

Music. When I'm outside, my iPod Nano keeps me in a state of grace amongst the rat race hustle bustle with my favoritest tunes.

I like being in bed but it tends to make me lazy. I hate it when I'm not being productive and I'm very weak towards falling into my comfort zone and staying there.

stretching.

I've been giving the whole "sleep" thing a go...

I like it :D

I heard good things about it, might give it a try sometime...

Oldfart 04-25-2009 01:22 AM

I recently heard it's a good group activity.
