Spine issues

I have an appointment with the spine-dude today, to go over the MRI & x-ray results, and see what can be done. It may or may not come down to surgery. IDK, it helped the last time. But...maybe I will "only" need cortisone injections. Or maybe something completely different. I dont' like the idea of having any larches installed in my spine (or anywhere else in my body), though.

I'll get all my friends and Clarabelle and I and we'll send out some good ol' vibes fer ya. Yep. We'll do that fer sure.

Hope your appointment went well and that a good course of action has been suggested. We'll keep our fingers crossed. :boink:

Crap, forgot I started this thread. Well, copy and paste from the post tot he "Tell me something" thread:

My visit with the spine-dude the other day resulted in a recommendation for a new drug, and an epidural steroid injection. Have already scheduled that for 8 April.

We'll keep our thoughts and prayers going in hopes the new drug will have the desired effect.

Thinking of you gg and sending prayers your way for you and your doctors.

It's past time for a current update on this situation.

True … and how's everything at 41.6058N - 81.5395W, PF?

gekkogecko 08-05-2019 08:52 AM

In physical therapy. Seems to be working, for the most part, *most* days the pain level is around the "oh, btw, yeah, your spine is still fucked" level rather than the "screaming agony" level.

Do they use that form where you are with a bunch of smiley faces from full on smile to less and less happy face to sad and then crying, screaming, pulling your hair out....….

I hate that little guy, they only pull out the smile guy when it's gonna be bad.
I hope your pain will get happier with each day.

And hey.. Nobody can ever say you're spineless. (gently hugs gg)

dicksbro 08-05-2019 11:51 PM

I don't want your pain to get happier … I want it to go away so you can tell us that you now do cartwheels to your car while jumping up and down with glee.

Why wish for a loaf of bread when you can wish for a grocery store? :D

Seriously, our prayers and hopes are with you … always.

Nah, they use the form wherein they say Do X, see how many time you can up to Y, and if you can't well, then, that's OK."

But I don't have a car.
