Confession... its good for the soul...

IS there something about you that you believe might surprise others here????

My confession... simple... and yet unbelieveable...

I have never seen 9 1/2 weeks...........

Lilith 01-03-2004 09:43 PM

I have neither read the books nor watched any of the LOTR movies:o

*hides from Sharni*

Bilbo 01-03-2004 09:48 PM

Sharni 01-03-2004 09:48 PM

Ahhhhhhhhh Lilith.....get thee to the vid shop...NOW!! :D

fenderchick 01-03-2004 10:32 PM

I guess I will join you Lilith on the trip to the vidio store, I have not seen it either.

jennaflower 01-03-2004 10:33 PM

and I thought it was bad that I hadn't seen 9 1/2 weeks.. geez... LOL... :)

White Noise 01-03-2004 11:47 PM

I haven't seen Grease, The Rocky Horror Picture Show or Titanic

Steph 01-04-2004 12:22 AM

I haven't seen LOTR, Jurassic Park, Jaws, X Men, Independance Day, Pearl Harbour . . .

BIBI 01-04-2004 12:33 AM

I don't think that there is anything to suprise anyone...but.....I have alot of Wizard of Oz collectibles.......and I love the cartoon "The Tick" and the comic series "Too Much Coffeeman"

osuche 01-04-2004 12:40 AM

I really don't enjoy watching movies...or TV (lived without one for a long time, and have never had cable). I prefer to either read a book or interact with people.

Movies...especially at the theater...are too loud for me -- it's like sensory overload.

Guess that makes me a cheap date.

Steph 01-04-2004 03:12 AM

I sometimes feel really white working with people at work. White and old. The slang sometimes confuses me :)

dicksbro 01-04-2004 06:12 AM

I've only had one lover ... my wife.

jseal 01-04-2004 06:35 AM

9˝ weeks is a VERY sensual film starring Mickey Rourke (when he could still act!!) and Kim Basinger, jseal!

Although I and my ex-wife are both Scottish, our daughter is Manx by nationality!! (She was born in the Isle of Man, Manx being the descriptor for I.o.M. people!!)

If you of had twin boys, they would have been the manx brothers.

musketeer 01-04-2004 08:40 AM

I thought the film ghost was boring - is this bad?

musicman 01-04-2004 09:54 AM

I collect shot glasses....

so if anyone ever feels the urge to buy some and mail them to me - lemme know :D LOL

Ryan˛ 01-04-2004 10:02 AM

I hadn't seen Jurassic Park 3 until new year's day. Simply the best!

dancingrugger 01-05-2004 12:04 AM

I've seen Disney's "The Emperor's New Groove" 73 times.

Catch22 01-05-2004 08:51 AM

I have nothing to confess.

Booger 01-05-2004 09:24 PM

I'm a movie snob but still love to watch bad movies

Ando3 01-05-2004 10:00 PM

I have seen the Movie H.O.T.S WAYYYYY to many times. (Never heard of it??? good. It was quite the flick for a 14 year old, but it would be a BAD B movie for the rest of us (think lots and lots of bare breasts))

Steph 01-05-2004 10:22 PM

I am avoiding negative, whiny people.

Southern Charm 01-06-2004 01:15 AM

I have never seen nor heard of 9 1/2 weeks. I've never seen any of the LOTR movies, Jaws, Pearl Harbor, that H.O.T.S movie, Jurassic Part 2 OR 3, Casablanca, An Affair to Remember, any movie starring Humphrey Bogart, but I HAVE seen "Finding Nemo" over 100 times by my own free will.

Cabrylla 01-06-2004 04:35 PM

I have never seen ANY of the Star Wars movies, and run away when someone considers turning one on.

WildIrish 01-06-2004 05:37 PM

Bless me Pixies, for I may have sinned.

I have had impure thoughts about... well, never mind. I've had impure thoughts. :D

I went to see the Return of The Jedi in the local cinema and got lots of eveil looks from all the kids and parents for laughing at the ewok things getting killed. I just couldn't take these tree dwelling jungle teddy bears seriously.

Steph 01-07-2004 03:27 AM

I'm eating red onion right now. I pity the foo'!

Catch22 01-07-2004 04:32 AM

Have naked flame around Steph a hour later.

Steph 01-07-2004 11:02 AM

I enjoyed telling an extremely arrogant co-worker last night that, yes, he can get fired for being a tool.

WildIrish 01-07-2004 11:52 AM

When will Booger confess to quoting himself? :D

Steph 01-07-2004 12:02 PM

Yeah! What was that about? I thought it was because I read it after karaoke and Guinness. :D

WildIrish 01-07-2004 12:05 PM

Were you singing "Molly Malone"?

I confess to knowing the words. ha ha

Steph 01-07-2004 12:11 PM

I confess I'm not sure if I know the song . . . Mari Mac is on my iTunes, however.

WildIrish 01-07-2004 12:17 PM

She wheels her wheelbarrow, through streets broad and narrow,
singing "cockels & mussels, alive alive-o.

Steph 01-07-2004 12:19 PM

Ah yes!

In Dublin's fair city, where the girls are so pretty
I first set my eyes on sweet Molly Malone

Nah, I sang the Police last night :D

LixyChick 01-07-2004 01:06 PM

I've never had anyone really piss me off to the point of wanting to duct tape their hands and possibly their mouth so they can't communicate in any way and torturing them by making them listen to their idiotic, nonsensical, egotistical, immature prattle on a recording on a loop for days on end while I laughed and danced and sang happy tunes.........

till just recently!

Anyone else ever feel like that about someone?
