Steph, I've been trying to find out what "langusten" is and the nearest I've been able to figure is it's related to lobsters ... a form of crustacean. All references seem to be in German but I've been unable to get a literal translation.

One 'English' paragraph was, "Beside Langusten can be prepared also lobsters, emperor garnet (Scampo) and giant shrimps like the Tigerprawns in a fruchtigen Tomatensauce. All kinds of crustacean profit from slow refining by moderate heat. Thus the meat remains tenderly and juicy."

I know that doesn't read well, and don't know if that helps, but it's about the best I could do. :rolleyes2

Tonight, it's a roasted chicken with steamed asparagus and a nice green salad on the side. Then later...I'll sneak into the kitchen and abscond with the carbs I so desperately need!

Steph 07-12-2005 05:12 PM

Thanks for the langusten updates! I'm craving seafood now!

Man, I really think I'll be having a healthy dinner of Mr. Freezies and juice. Too. hot. to. cook.
