The Teaser....
All through dinner she had been acting strange, John thought again as he saw his lovely wife grin at him. The conversation was normal, work, home and friends but there seemed to something underlying everything she said.
Janet had made him a nice dinner, something she hadn’t done in a long, long time since John usually did most of the cooking. He had come home from work with the house mostly dark and when he walked into the living room the short coffee table had candles burning on it and was set for dinner.
